Fumakilla Malaysia Berhad is the leading household insecticide manufacturer in Malaysia with an extensive and expanding range of products that include mosquito coils, mosquito mats, insecticidal aerosols, liquid and mat vaporisers and rodenticides. These products are distributed to millions of households throughout ASEAN and around the world.

The history of Fumakilla Malaysia Berhad can be traced back to December 1976. The Company's humble beginnings started at its first manufacturing plant in Penang and later, more manufacturing plants were set up to meet the increasing demands of the Southeast Asian (ASEAN) market. Fumakilla Malaysia Berhad's corporate motto "The Specialist in Household Insecticides" is an intrinsic part of the Company's day-to-day business philosophy. The Company's commitment to product excellence is evident in its acquisition of the MS ISO 9001 quality management system award, the first company in Malaysia to receive it, in 1995.

Fumakilla Malaysia Berhad was also the first household insecticide manufacturing company to achieve Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia's (SIRIM) product certification for all categories of its household insecticides. The Company's commitment to quality is evident in the set-up of Fumakilla Malaysia's Entomology Research Center, and the Research and Development (R&D) Center. This is where stringent tests on new and existing products are carried out at every stage of the manufacturing and product development process. Besides Japan, Fumakilla Malaysia Berhad is the only other household insecticide manufacturer in Asia, that invest extensively in research and development.

The Company's R&D team employs rigorous quality control methods to continually test the quality of products whilst innovative technology sought to speed up manufacturing processes in order to improve productivity. The R&D Center also focuses on new product developments for the expansion of the Group's products range.
