Texchem's Packaging Division is ASEAN's leading manufacturer of high technology plastic packaging materials, providing packaging solutions to the consumer electronics, semiconductor, data storage, telecommunications and medical industries. Most of our customers are multinational companies that export their end products worldwide.

We invest heavily in research and development, and use leading-edge, in-house facilities both for product enhancements and for new products. We have an R&D Centre dedicated to developing new materials for the plastic packaging industry, and we also have research collaboration with both local and overseas universities. Our current research focus are in static control materials as well as biobased materials.

For the development of new designs we employ an extensive CAD-supported mould-designing facility, combined with 3D visualization software and CNC mould-making equipment. Our Design Centre boosts our competitive edge by enabling us to create tailor-made packaging solutions in the fastest possible time for customers around the world. The Centre has made us ASEAN's undisputed first choice for packaging design.

Within the Texchem Group, the Packaging Division has 12 production facilities located across Asia. We are engaged in the manufacture and sale of a variety of plastic packaging products, ranging from thermoformed trays, injection moulded parts, wafer shipper, embossed carrier tapes, extruded sheets and profiles to expanded polystyrene products for a wide range of packaging products. We also deal in flexographic printing solutions from artwork design to film output and printing plate processing.

In 2003, we started operations in Wuxi, near Shanghai. Our high capacity, state-of-the-art machinery delivers efficient and cost-effective production. We aggressively market our capabilities as a one-stop packaging solution provider in ASEAN, the USA and Japan.
