Texchem's Restaurant Division was established to meet the growing demand in Malaysia for healthy
Japanese cuisine, to leverage on the Division's continuous, direct access to fresh, safe seafood.
The Division operates a range of restaurant brands catering for diverse market segments including, Sushi King,
Miraku and Goku Raku Ramen.
The Division pioneered and operates Malaysia's largest Japanese restaurant brand - Sushi King, which first
introduced "Kaiten Belt Sushi" to Malaysia in 1995. The brand offers a wide range of affordable and authentic Japanese cuisine.
There are over 60 Sushi King restaurants strategically located in central business districts and shopping centres in major cities
throughout the country. Expansion of the brand is ongoing, to meet increasing consumer demand.
In 2007, we established Miraku, our flagship fine dining Japanese restaurant helmed by our master chefs from Japan.
To complement our product mix, the Division established the Goku Raku Ramen brand in 2011, with the first restaurant located in
Mid Valley Megamall. This new Japanese restaurant brand offers contemporary and traditional dishes, to widen the Division's menu range.
Goku Raku Ramen has the added advantage of being Malaysia's first Ramen dining concept restaurant.
