Seapack Food Sdn Bhd was established in 1990 as a downstream processor of high
quality minced fish meat or Surimi.
Seapack has the expertise to produce a range of delectable surimi-based products
including prawn tail, breaded crab claw and double bind flake.
Combined with the latest technology, we are able to produce various textures, tastes
and appearances that closely resemble the natural attributes of the respective species
of seafood. In 1994, Seapack has been conferred the MS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management
System (QMS), which was previously known as MS ISO 9002. We are proud to have earned
various certifications and accreditations over the years - each of which representing
a special testimony to Seapack's highest regard for achieving the best product quality.
In addition, we exercise stringent quality control such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
to ensure consistent freshness and hygiene. Seapack recognizes the sensitivity and religious needs of
Muslim consumers around the world. Correspondingly, all of our products are manufactured strictly according
to the Halal guidelines and hence, suitable for the consumption by Muslim consumers. As recognition to this
accomplishment, all products manufactured by Seapack and marketed under the Seapack brand have been conferred
the Halal certification from the country's authority on Islamic affairs, the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM).
In 2009, we have moved to outsourcing the production of some of our products at selected facilities in
Thailand and Vietnam. Through strategic OEM arrangements, we are able to continue our commitment in supplying
to our loyal consumers in the European Union.
