The role of Texchem’s Venture Division is to initiate, incubate and nurture new businesses. Our venture businesses are usually synergistic with our existing core businesses, thus enabling us to maintain our focus and capitalise on our strengths.

The Venture Division operates through Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd, an associated company of Texchem Resources Berhad (TRB). Once a venture business has achieved profitability and critical mass, it is transferred to the relevant division within TRB.

In this way, the initial losses inevitable in start-up operations are absorbed by Texchem Corporation, thus minimising the effect on TRB’s bottom line.
In the coming years, given the massive investment the Group is making in expansion overseas, the role of the Venture Division will be more than ever crucial to our success.

Texchem Corporation also provides the Group with corporate management services including group finance, corporate planning, corporate secretarial services, human resource planning, IT services, public relations, investor relations and building management.

The businesses in the Venture Division also include insurance agency and in-house security services.
