Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd invites applications for the Student Attachment Programme ('Attachment Programme') from Malaysian ICSA students (or other students who wish to pursue the ICSA qualifications) who are interested to undergo comprehensive training in a corporate environment at its headquarters in Penang.

This Attachment Programme at the Group Corporate Planning Department of Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd is designed to provide the applicants with valuable exposure to various aspects of the corporate secretarial function in a corporate environment covering cross-border and multi-jurisdictional assignments.

The Attachment Programme would be suitable for applicants who have completed at least a year of undergraduate studies and would like to participate in the programme during their long vacation.

Final year undergraduate ICSA students who are waiting for results and have successfully completed the Attachment Programme may be considered for permanent employment.

The Attachment Programme will be for a duration of between 1 to 6 months and is offered all year round.

Applications for the Attachment positions should include the following::

(a) Detailed resume and a non-returnable photograph;
(b) Photocopy of certificates (including result slips);
(c) 2 reference letters from Professors, Tutors, Academic Advisors or previous employers; and
(d) An essay (of not more than 500 words) stating the reason(/s) as to why the applicant would like to join the Attachment Programme and the importance of the Attachment Programme in furthering the applicant's education and where possible career goals.

Successful applicants will be selected on the basis of their aptitude and knowledge in corporate secretarial matters, proficiency in the English Language and an interest to work in a corporate environment. Proficiency in other languages would be an added advantage.
